Spring x Must haves

Midi dresses have been prominent since last year and it still is, but now with a twist. We all loved skater skirts and midis and here we have the two combined. How can you not love it? I must admit, at first I wasn't a big aficionado but it has grown on me, I will have a couple in my wardrobe this season.

The trendy chic shaped sunglasses; definitely a must have, no doubt about it! Sunglasses are essential for summer and everyone will have a pair on so why not make yours bit more stylish and unique. Spice it up with the cat eye sunglasses, you’ll be sure to turn some heads.

Sometimes we all need to give our casual outfits that little boost, to tone it up and take it another level. When faced with this problem we turn to our jewellery box and add some accessories. You'll be calling on chokers this season, especially with those high neck tops that you own. ASOS have a nice selection of chokers. Best when layered, chokers are sure to give you that extra boost that you're looking to add to your look.

Perfect for layering during the times when it is not as hot as we'd like it to be, even better on its own once the time gets warmer. They are easily dressed up once you add a statement necklace and very light so they can be tucked into skirts or high waisted jeans. Just do as you please with the camis because they are the most versatile pieces to have in your wardrobe.

So you know those chunky boots that you have from winter? Yeah those ones! Just chuck those on with a midi dress or some shorts and go to the park. I'm not much of a sandals person I'm most likely to go for some trainers or dolly shoes. I mean unless its unbearably hot.

As the days are longer, we stay out later so a comfy bag is essential. A shoulder satchel is what you need for your days out because we all know that there is nothing bothersome like having to carry a handbag on long hot days.

So that’s pretty much a sum up of the things you need in preparation for stylish and comfortable spring/summer days. I love summer!

OOTD: Monochrome x Detail

Good weather is hard to come by in the UK, consistent good weather is almost mythical so whenever we do get good weather I am out of the door and out with the sunshine! (If I'm not working). I always like to start with the basics when transitioning from one season to the next. There's always something different about them as the seasons change: the cut of the arms, hem, the fit, the colour etc. Basics are just never too basic for me and they're so versatile.

Joni jeans; the most flattering jeans I own! They add curves where you need them and deduct where it's essential, I cannot fault them, get a pair! As for my top, I love the idea. Nothing beats the top with the unanticipated detail at the back? This looks equally great with a lace bralet or bandeau for more support and comfort, especially if you have a busy day.

Story behind this OOTD - I had to roll the sleeve of the shirt up because somehow I managed to slightly burn it whilst ironing LOL!

wish list

wish list by shaaadai featuring black velvet shoes

As if I don't already have a long list of thing on my wishlist. So here's another wishlist post because I'm an absolute sucker for spring collections.

Co-ordinates are great to invest in, they're very flexible because they can be worn together or separately. Styling them is just so easy so co-ordinates are a must! The one featured can be found in the Topshop concession Motel.

OOTD: Two for 1

Finally an OOTD post! It's a casual one though. I was literally just heading down to Argos to pick up an item that I reserved just before rushing to work. I thought I'd throw on a comfy tee and jeans.

My luck with River Island shoes were pretty much non existent before these loafers but after giving them to my mum (who is the size up from me) to walk around in, they were the perfect fit. I experimented with the t-shirt by knotting it. I think it looks pretty good, but I didn't leave my house with it because it wasn't that warm out....We're getting there though. I'm wearing the raw hem jeans which I spoke about in my first post

March Wishlist

All the items I wish had purchased this month. It isn't too late though :). As you can see my obsession with pastel colours isn't a joke and some of the item from my playful pastels post has found its way onto my wishlist. How could I resist though.

Shopping trip very soon, we'll see if any of these actually end up in my shopping bag.
